Description Fred Onovwerosuoke's second Rhapsody for Woodwind Quintet
Description The "Serenades for String Orchestra with Piano" are a set of works arranged for youth orchestras, written in response to requests by directors of high school ensembles seeking introductory pieces into African perspectives on harmony and polyrhythm traditions. No. 1, “At The Market” is based on a traditional Fon melody from Benin Republic, No. 2, “Pende Lullaby” draws from bedtime chants from the central African region, while No. 3, “Dance Tribute” is just as the subtitle implies.
